Woodbridge

Recently I realised that we don't spend much time together, on our own. There is always some place to be, with other people - be it family or friends. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy visiting people, or having them to ours.. but sometimes I just really crave some 'us' time.

Last Saturday M took me to Woodbridge for a pub lunch and a walk around a place called Woodbridge. We went to a pub that we found on my Birthday last year that does really good home cooked food and also has a nice garden area - as the weather was lovely on Saturday it seemed perfect.

As well as having lots of little lovely shops to visit, when I go to Woodbridge, I also like to go and sit down by the water.. I find it really peaceful and love listening to the sound of the sail boats clanging in the wind.

It was a nice simple day that didn't cost us a fortune, but both really enjoyed it & decided it was something we should do more often.

  1. What a gorgeous view, reminds me of Wells actually!
I love driving around Norfolk and Suffolk and discovering the different pubs. We also found a nice pub [near] Woodbridge last year which we plan to go back to one day.

"Us" time is so important. Treasure it before you have little people pulling at your legs and demanding your attention xx

I have never heard of Woodbridge, but it looks like a very quaint fishing seaside village. I love to walk along the sea front and see th fishing boats. Looks like you had a lovely day for it too

Thank you so much for linking up to Flashback Friday xx
